Leukemia and lymphoma are cancers that affect the blood or bone marrow. Adult leukemias are expected to account for more than 3 percent of all new cancer cases in 2018, according to federal statistics. Leukemia is the most common cancer in children younger than 15 years. Lymphoma is one of the most common cancers in the United States, accounting for about 4% of all cancers. According to the American Cancer Society, about 74,200 people will be diagnosed with lymphoma in the year 2019.

In 2018 AAPI kick started a campaign against leukemia and lymphomas by donating $100000 to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of America. The 10 City AAPI Jai Ho Tour aims to raise funds for lymphoma and leukemia awareness bolstering AAPI’s continued commitment to these noble causes
